Pringle Midwest Audio Fiction Revival
The National Audio Theatre Festivals is pleased to announce the first annual Pringle Midwest
Audio Fiction Revival at Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri! For 2024, NATF is reviving our roots with the Midwest Radio Theater Workshop by fostering new collaborations with KOPN
Community radio and Stephens College Filmmaking Program to present a hands-on day of Audio Fiction workshops and performance.
Friday, October 4 - Sunday, October 6
National Audio Theatre Festivals, Inc. is pleased to announce the first annual Pringle Midwest Audio Fiction Revival
The event will feature voice actor Leraldo Anzaldua (Gatchaman, Highschool of the Dead, Starship Troopers: Invasion), Foley Artist Tony Brewer, and sound designer Norbert Herber, among others.
This year we are offering panels on voice acting, live foley, and more, plus an
evening of Audio Theatre Scriptwriting Workshops (featuring HELENA HARDBODY by LeeAnne Lowery and HAZEL’S KIDS by Ellen Stewart) with staged readings and audience and
participant feedback live at Stephens College Studio A on Saturday, October 5th, 2024.
The Corwin Awards Committee will also present their 2024 Corwin Legacy Award posthumously to Renee Pringle, who did so much to promote and advance the art form of audio theatre.
NATF honors the passing of our longtime friend, NPR Audio Engineer, NATF board member, and Hear Now festival participant, Renee Pringle by dedicating this annual event in her name.
Financial assistance for this project has been provided by the Missouri Arts Council, a state agency.
