Description: Horror has been interpreted by storytellers for centuries but how do you combine the pre-existing tropes and traditions of the genre into a product for an audience that can only HEAR the final output? Join veteran sound designers, writers, composers and voice actors as they discuss crafting terrifying tales for an audio-only experience. Topics will include utilizing the listener’s imagination, layering elements to benefit the scene, considerations for the audience’s experience, creating something new and unique for the space, ingenuity with performance/writing/technical solutions and taking care of your teams. Q&A to follow.
